Head of Distribution Management (m/f/d) | Workplace: Europe

As a manufacturer and trader of high-quality animal nutrition for all farm animals, the company moreover provides its worldwide customers with support and advice.

Your tasks:

  • Leading, promoting and intrinsically motivating subordinate employees
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors
  • Analyzing distributor sales performance and tracking KPIs of regional distributors:
    sales volume, inventory turnover, market coverage
  • Conducting annual reviews of distributors
  • Preparing forecast and planning regional inventory replenishment cycles
  • Monitoring distributor orders and delivery timelines
  • Coordinating product training and marketing materials for distributors
  • Supporting pricing, promotions, and go-to-market strategies, aligning sales targets and growth goals
  • Negotiating agreements and terms, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Gathering insights from distributors about competition, pricing, and market trends

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in business administration or international business; alternatively completed studies in agricultural sciences
  • Several years of experience in international sales or distribution management, ideally in a management role
  • Good knowledge of sales planning, forecasting processes and inventory control
  • Business proficiency in English, other foreign languages an advantagious
  • Experiences in working with the common MS Office programs and CRM systems
  • Results-oriented working approach and a high degree of initiative and commitment 
  • Data oriented and capability to work in multinational or cross-cultural environments
  • Readiness for travels
